Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions constitute the terms of the agreement between yourself and Zalu Services.

General booking conditions

1. Following your confirmation of the booking, Zalu Services will provide you with an invoice. The total price of the invoice will relate to the arrangements that you require us to book on your behalf. Anything not included in the invoice is not part of our contract so we are not liable for it.

2. Once you have received confirmation of your booking from us, it is essential that you read carefully every detail in order to avoid any misunderstanding regarding the service booked. Should you find any discrepancy, it is important that you notify Zalu Services within 24 hours of receiving the booking confirmation from us.

If you fail to do so, Zalu Services will not be liable to you for any omission of services or arrangements regarding your booking.

3. Zalu Services will not be liable for any special request not notified by yourself at the time of the booking. Should you have any special request, it is your responsibility to notify this to us in writing at the time of the booking. If we are able to meet your request, we will send you a written confirmation.

4. Upon your confirmation of the booking, Zalu Services will request a 50% of the total amount stated in the invoice. In order to guarantee the booking, the 50% deposit should be received by Zalu Services within 5 working days from your booking confirmation. The outstanding balance has to be paid 6 weeks prior to your departure date. If the deposit is not paid on time, Zalu Services will not be obliged in any way in respect of your booking and will considerate it canceled. If the balance is not paid on time,your deposit will be retained and cancellation rules will be applied accordingly. For bookings made 60 days prior to your departure date,we will require the full payment of the amount stated in the invoice.

5. Once the booking is confirmed, if you decide to change the arrangements,we will consider your request however Zalu Services is under no obligation to guarantee the changes required. If we are able to meet your request, an administration fee will be requested for the change. The administration fee will be calculated on the basis of the time spent or any charges that we will have to pay such as charges that will incur to third parties Any change request must be made in writing.

6. If you decide to cancel your booking, you should notify us as soon as possible. We also require a written confirmation of your cancellation. The following cancellation policies apply: 7 days after booking 40% of the deposit, 8 days after booking to 90 days prior to departure 60% of the total amount invoiced, 89 to 79 days prior to departure 80% of the total amount invoiced, 60 to 0 days prior to departure 100% of the total amount invoiced

7. We try to avoid making any changes to the service booked, however Zalu Services reserves the right to make changes to your booking should this be necessary. We will do our most to notify you in reasonable time of any change. It could happen that your booking has to be canceled for reasons of Force Majeure (these can include war, terrorist activity, adverse weather conditions,natural or nuclear disaster so basically any unforeseeable circumstance beyond our control). In this case we reserve the right to cancel bookings at any time and we will not be liable for any compensation.

8. Zalu Services will not be responsible for any other sum charged to you that is not included in our confirmation invoice. Therefore if you use any other service, that has not been arranged by us, it will be your responsibility to pay them and Zalu Services will not be responsible for any loss suffered by you. Zalu Services is not liable in any way for your flight arrangements, any link that might be advertised on our web site is just for information. It is your responsibility to arrange your flights directly with the flight provider.

9. Please note that the extra services that can be included in your wedding arrangements (such as flowers, photos, music, menus...) are carried out by third parties and not manged directly by us. We only provide you with the help of a wedding coordinator on site to introduce you to the suppliers.

10. Zalu Services will take no responsibility for any loss or damage that you may encounter during your stay. Therefore we strongly advise you to get an adequate travel insurance.

11. In order to guarantee the availability of the wedding venue we would ideally require a one year notice prior to your wedding date. However we will do our best to answer requests having a shorter notice period. However a shorter notice period gives minor guarantee of the availability of the wedding wedding and also of the services provided by the suppliers on location.

12. Zalu Services has no control over the legal formalities required by the Italian Authorities or the procedures and formalities related to the declaration and wedding service which might be required by civil institutions. We will do our best to ensure that the wedding arrangements proceed smoothly however we are not liable to you for any delay or failure related to these third party components.

13. Zalu Services will not be liable for any damage caused by yourself. If you cause any damage any charge will have to be paid by you and must be paid locally.

14. Should you not be satisfied with the services provided, it is your responsibility to Zalu Services as soon as possible. It is therefore a condition of your agreement with Zalu Services to communicate any issue while still in the resort in order to give us the opportunity to investigate the matter and find a remedy should that be the case. If you fail to do so, Zalu Services will not be liable to pay you any compensation.

15. It is your responsibility to produce all the necessary documentation requested by institutions (Municipal, Governmental, religious...) in respect of the wedding arrangements.

If you fail to produce all the necessary documentation this may result in the wedding service being delayed or canceled. Zalu Services will not be liable if you fail to produce the documentation required.

5. Once the booking is confirmed, if you decide to change the arrangements,we will consider your request however ZALU is under no obligation to guarantee the changes required. If we are able to meet your request, a ?25 amendment fee will be requested for the change. Any change request must be made in writing.

6. If you decide to cancel your booking, you should notify us as soon as possible. We also require a written confirmation of your cancellation. The following cancellation policies apply: more than 50 days before departure date we will retain the 30% deposit. 50 to 29 days prior to departure 50% of the total amount invoiced. 28 to 22 days prior to departure 70% of the total amount invoiced. 21 to 8 days prior to departure 90% of the total amount invoiced. 7 to 0 days prior to departure 100% of the total amount invoiced.

If we should be unable to provide you with the service requested we will offer you an alternative solution of the same standard or a refund of the monies paid. We will do our most to notify you in reasonable time of any change. It could happen that your booking has to be canceled for reasons of Force Majeure (these can include war, terrorist activity, adverse weather conditions,natural or nuclear disaster so basically any unforeseeable circumstance beyond our control). In this case we reserve the right to cancel bookings at any time and we will not be liable for any compensation.

10. The accommodations advertised on our web site are privately owned. Zalu Services is simply an intermediary between the customer and the owner of the accommodation. Therefore Zalu Services will not be responsible for any changes made to the property that have not been notified to us.

11. Please note that properties are furnished and equipped by the owner according to local standards. For example you might find that most of the Holiday Homes are not equipped with kettle and teapots. If the property offers extra facilities (such as air conditioning, parking, swimming-pool, dishwasher...) these will be mentioned in the property description. If they are not mentioned,the property will not have does facilities. We therefore strongly recommend that you read carefully the property descriptions in order to choose suitable accommodation for your requirements.

12. Zalu Services will not be liable for any damage caused by yourself. If you cause any damage to the accommodation or its contents during your stay, any charge will have to be paid by you and must be paid locally.

13. Should you not be satisfied with the accommodation or any of the services provided, it is your responsibility to advise the key holder or Zalu Services as soon as possible. It is therefore a condition of your agreement with Zalu Services to communicate any issue while still in the resort in order to give us the opportunity to investigate the matter and find a remedy should that be the case. If you fail to do so, Zalu Services will not be liable to pay you any compensation.

14. Accommodation has to be booked on a Saturday to Saturday basis. If you request different start/end days we will do our best to answer your requirements however it is not a guarantee. Should it be possible to arrange we will notify you in writing.

15. Check-in time on arrival day is 02.00 pm and check-out time on departure date is 10.00 am.

If you request an early arrival and/or late departure we will do our best to arrange it but please note that it is not a guarantee. Should it be possible to arrange we will notify you in writing.
